โฝ Wanderers Weekly: The Whole Club Steps Out ๐ฆ
The seniors have set the tone, and now the rest of Belmont takes the stage. This is the weekend the season truly belongs to everyone: from our smallest U7 boots to the U16s, the girls’ sides to the age-group boys, we have all survived the summer and the fixtures are stacked high. A heartfelt good luck to everyone starting out for the very first time this weekend, and to every returning player kicking on from last season. Play with a smile, and remember: win, lose or draw, the moment you step onto that pitch you have already done the hardest part. Let’s enjoy every minute of it.
๐งฌ The Club DNA Report ๐งฌ
Belmont Wanderers has never been about one team or one result. Our identity is built across every age group, every touchline and every Saturday and Sunday morning, and this week that shared spirit showed itself again.
This week, our Attacking Prowess was the pillar that shone brightest. Eight goals across our reported games, headlined by a six-goal haul, tells you everything about the appetite to get forward and hurt teams. There is real intent in the final third, and that willingness to play with adventure is exactly the Belmont way.
Defensively, conceding just one goal in each fixture points to a back line that is doing plenty right, even if the clean sheets have not quite arrived yet. Those shutouts will come as understanding grows week by week, and our focus on club values and player development remains the quiet engine of everything we do. Keep backing one another, keep learning, and keep smiling: that is the philosophy that carries Belmont forward, and it will serve us brilliantly all season long.

โจ Last Week’s Highlights โจ
Belmont Bullets U14 Girls vs Ewyas Harold
Final Score: Won 6-1
A confident six-goal send-off to pre-season, with the goals shared and two players slotting home from clever wing play before a second-half formation switch paid off handsomely. The one blemish was a late penalty, but with a hat-trick to celebrate and new faces bedding in nicely at the back, the Bullets head into Division 1 in fine fettle.
Belmont Hammers vs TBC
Final Score: Won 2-1
A hard-earned 2-1 win is exactly the sort of result that builds belief, and RH capping it with the Player of the Match nod is the perfect footnote. Grinding out tight games is a habit worth keeping.
โญ Standout of the Week โญ
This week’s Standout is KG (Belmont Bullets U14 Girls), banking another award and a tidy +100 points. A goalscorer in serious form and thoroughly deserving of the applause. Take a bow.
