The identity of Belmont Wanderers isn’t just about what we do on the pitch; it’s woven into the very fabric of our club, influencing every pass, tackle, and cheer from the sidelines. Our DNA – built on Attacking Prowess, Defensive Solidarity, strong Club Values, and dedicated Player Development – is the foundation upon which we build our success. It’s this unique blend that makes us who we are and drives us to reach new heights.

This week, our Attacking Prowess shone brightly, with our teams bagging a total of 9 goals! While we didn’t quite manage a hat-trick, the consistent goal-scoring across various age groups demonstrates the attacking flair that courses through our club. Well done to all our goalscorers – keep up the pressure, keep finding the back of the net, and continue to make those opposition defenders sweat!

Defensively, the 2 clean sheets are a testament to our unwavering focus and commitment to protecting our goal. However, the goals conceded remind us that there’s always room for improvement. Our commitment to Sportsmanship shone this week with 2 well earned awards, and the Captain award highlights the leadership emerging from within our ranks. Player development continues to be a cornerstone of our philosophy, and the 5 Player of the Month awards speak volumes about the dedication and talent within our squad. The Playmaker award demonstrates the creative flair we also admire at the club.

Our goal is to ensure that every player, from our youngest recruits to our seasoned veterans, embodies these core values. We are building a footballing family here at Belmont Wanderers!
