Alright Wanderers faithful, gather ’round! Last week we charged into the New Year, and this week? We’re diving deep into the very heart of our club – the DNA that makes us Belmont Wanderers! Get ready for a jam-packed programme filled with match previews, celebrations of our star players, a look at our club values, and so much more. It’s a proper feast of footballing joy, so let’s crack on! 🥳

🧬 The Club DNA Report 🧬

Here’s the word from our Chairman, the Head of Football Development himself:

Belmont Wanderers isn’t just a club; it’s a family built on core principles. From the youngest U7s to the senior Lionesses, we strive to embody these values in every match, every training session, and every interaction. Our DNA is what sets us apart, guiding our decisions and fuelling our passion for the beautiful game.

This week, our Attacking Prowess was simply sensational! A staggering 27 goals across all teams, including an impressive 4 hat-tricks, proves that our attacking philosophy is bearing fruit. Seeing those goals fly in is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our players, coaches, and the unwavering support of our amazing fans. Keep that scoring momentum going, Wanderers!

Defensively, the one clean sheet doesn’t quite tell the whole story. While we always aim for shutouts, the 3 ‘Wall’ awards demonstrate the grit and determination our defenders display week in, week out. Sportsmanship_awards show that we play fair and with respect for our opponents. With 11 ‘Player of the Match’ and 7 ‘Playmaker’ awards, our player development is clearly shining through. We’re nurturing talent and building a bright future for Belmont Wanderers.

Our journey is one of continuous improvement, striving to embody our core values in every aspect of the club. We are committed to providing opportunities for players of all ages and abilities to reach their full potential. Together, we will continue to build a club that we can all be proud of.
