The pitches have been buzzing with energy, the goals have been flying in (mostly!), and the sideline banter has been top-notch. 🧬 The Club DNA Report 🧬
Here at Belmont Wanderers, we believe in more than just football; we believe in fostering a community built on unwavering passion, sportsmanship, and a commitment to developing not just players, but outstanding individuals. It’s what makes us who we are, woven into the very fabric of our club DNA.
This week, our Attacking Prowess was positively scintillating! With a whopping 4 hat-tricks and an impressive goal tally across all teams, our attacking players have been firing on all cylinders. From thunderous volleys to cheeky tap-ins, the goals have been a joy to behold. Special mentions must go to the U13 Boys and U8 Lions for their dominant performances!
Our Defensive Solidarity has shown promising signs. While clean sheets were elusive this week, the 5 “Wall Awards” suggest a gritty determination at the back. A little more focus and communication, and those clean sheets will surely follow. Player Development continues to shine, with an outstanding 11 Player of the Match awards and 9 Playmaker awards. It’s fantastic to see so many players recognised for their contributions, showing the depth of talent we have coming through the ranks. Let’s not forget our sportsmanship awards showing respect and honour for the game.
Looking ahead, we will continue to develop our philosophy of encouraging expansive play, fostering individual brilliance, and above all, creating a positive and supportive environment where every player can thrive. Belmont DNA in action!
